Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

Next week 4th Wall, the visual arts arm of Jericho Advisors, presents Neighbors, a collection of photography from local photographer and filmmaker Dorian Warneck. Officially opening with a reception on Wednesday, April 20, the evening will begin with an Artist Talk with Warneck at 5:30 p.m. followed by a reception from 6-9 p.m. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
Neighbors began with Warneck shooting portraits of the people who lived in the houses surrounding his downtown home. The project quickly transformed into a self-published zine featuring a wider array of his candid street photography as well as street portraits.
Warneck uses street photography as a means to observe the world around him, gravitating towards the mundane, commonly overlooked moments.
4th Wall will host Neighbors until June 1. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm and by appointment.
