Thousands of spectators will head to West Ashley this weekend to enjoy high-speed polo, Charleston fashion, luxury vehicles, farm-to-table food, wine, spirits, and beer as part of the Victory Cup, held at the Hyde Park Polo Club in Ravenel. Not just a polo match, The Victory Cup also features dozens of local chefs, restaurants, farms, vineyards, distilleries, and breweries from Charleston and beyond.
The Victory Cup also boasts one of the largest and certainly most unique farm to table experiences in the nation. Victory Cup Farm to Table pass holders enjoy an awesome dinner with the polo players themselves after the event prepared by the acclaimed Chef Luca Annunziata from Luca Italian Kitchen.
K. Cooper Ray, as seen on Bravo’s hit television show Southern Charm, will be the honorary chairman and will throw out the first ball at the Victory Cup. This year’s charity partners include: Polo Kids Foundation, Vet Tix, and Camp Happy Days.
Alcohol partners and sponsors include Charleston Beverage Company, Blade And Bow Bourbon, Blue Chair Bay Rum, Whiskey Girl, Bold Rock Cider, Cathead Distillery, Sacha Lichine Rosé and more.
On the food side, Victory Cup has partnered with Luca Italian Kitchen, Bootlegger Coffee Truck, The Chillin Station H2O LLC. Slatheriton, Slather Brand Foods, Alicia’s Northside Bar and Grill, Low Country Olive Oil, King of Pops, Grey Ghost Bakery and more.
For those seeking an upper tier experience, there will be the Golden Mallet Tent and a newly added Founder’s Lounge. These guests will enjoy a more refined experience while they mix and mingle with premier event sponsors and partners and even the polo players themselves.
