Since The Glass Onion offers a Restaurant Week menu/prices every day, owner and head chef Chris Stewart wanted to do something special that patrons would love during January when restaurant week is held.
One of their most popular dishes — that is requested the most — is the catfish, so Stewart and his culinary team began a new annual tradition this January. For the next two weeks, they will host a family-style fish fry featuring their ultra-popular catfish. For $12 per person at dinner, patrons can get a special catfish platter served family-style featuring Glass Onion’s all natural North Carolina “Carolina Classic Catfish,” which is battered and cooked using Geechie Boy cornmeal and Glass Onion house seasoning salt.
The platter will also come with The Glass Onion’s hand-cut fries, hushpuppies, and cole slaw. The Fish Fry special will be available every night except Fried Chicken Night on Tuesdays starting January 6 and running until January 16.
