For the first time ever, AccuPhotoLab & Studio in West Ashley is hosting a Camera Expo in conjunction with its annual Buy, Sell, Clean Event. Cardinal Camera of Charlotte and Philadelphia is setting up a pop-up camera and equipment expo starting at 10 a.m. this Friday and Saturday.
Since Charleston no longer has an independent camera store, locals are forced to make their camera purchases either online or at a big box electronic store, where the sale person may not be as knowledgeable about the camera. In business since 1937 Cardinal Camera is a Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, and Tamron dealer and are knowledgable about the products they are selling. Plus, they will even pay the tax on your purchase during the expo.
UsedPhotoPro’s expert camera buyer will also be on hand to purchase used gear and SLR film and digital cameras paying top dollar. If your camera gear is just collecting dust on a shelf, you can trade it in for some cash. (Must have a valid drivers license or identification).
Additionally, Peachtree Camera will be on hand for digital camera sensor cleaning and lens alignment.This is a valuable service to clean sensors and calibrate camera lenses and keep your gear in top working condition. There is a fee for this service: $40 per camera body and &15 per lens alignment. Most work is done while you wait.
