Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and insect repellent because Charles Towne Landing’s Movies Under The Stars kicks off this Friday, May 29 with a special screening of the Steven Spielberg 1982 classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in the courtyard at Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing.
E.T. tells the story of Elliott, a lonely boy who befriends an extraterrestrial, named “E.T.,” who is stranded on Earth. He and his siblings help E.T. return home, while attempting to keep it hidden from their mother and the government. The film was nominated for nine Oscars, winning four.
Admission is free. Grounds open at 7 p.m., and the movie will begin at dusk. Please no outside drinks or snacks, there will be refreshments available for purchase. Charles Towne Landing is located at 1500 Old Towne Road. For more information, call 852-4200.
