Blues You Can Use

Fiery Ron’s Home Team BBQ in West Ashley will host the Annual All-Star Blues Jam & Oyster Roast for the eighth year in a row this Saturday, Feb. 28. The popular event features acoustic blues performances on the outdoor stage, electric performances on the inside stage, and all-you-can-eat oysters.
The action begins at noon with hot bottleneck slide guitar and dobro riffs from  “My Buddy Todd” Roth and then continues inside with the invitational jam, featuring a true “all-star” lineup of blues artists.
Performing for the All-Star Blues Jam is Texas-style bluesman and former Accelerator frontman Tommy Thunderfoot. Local blues heroine Skye Paige will take the stage along with Charleston’s Best Keyboardist Whitt Algar playing bass and keys, John ‘JP’ Picard on drums. Expect special guests to join in throughout the afternoon.
