In 2013, rock ‘n’ roll lost of one of it’s icons with the passing of Lou Reed of liver disease at the age of 71. This Sunday, The Tin Roof is hosting a Tribute for the songwriter and guitarist and frontman for the influential rock band The Velvet Underground.
Local musicians Jack Burg, Bill Carson, Johnny Delaware, Conor Donohue, Clint Fore, Jonathan Grey, Avi Jacob, T. Ballard Lesemann, Aaron Levy, Johnnie Matthews, Luke Mitchell, Jeff Narkiewicz, Stefanie Santana, Mado Smith, Jimmy Snyder, and The V-Tones are slated to play as part of the tribute, which begins at 8 p.m. this Sunday, Jan. 19. Tickets are $5 at the door.
