Blues and Boil

This Saturday, Jan. 18, from 2-6 p.m., come out to Home Team BBQ at 1205 Ashley River Road for a fundraiser in support of the Lowcountry Blues Club (LBC). Started in 2007, the goal of the LBC is to “support, preserve and promote blues music”; a theme that’s follows Home Team’s own passion of promoting jazz and blues in the Lowcountry.
Several bands will perform during the fundraiser, including the Howlin’ Pack, Momma and the Redemption, and Taste Like Chicken. There will be fresh Lowcountry Boil (shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes) available for $10.
All of the money raised during the event will go to support “Taste Like Chicken” as they throw their hat into ring at the 30^th Annual International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn., at the end of this month.
