Two weeks ago we revisited the Chareston Rodeo Club and the Boots and Saddle Horsemen’s Club of Charleston County. The rodeo was a way of life in St. Andrew’s Parish in the 1960s. To read the story, visit www.westof.net/west-ashley-flashback-wild-wild-west-ashley. Following the story, there was so much interest in the rodeo, which was held in West Ashley, that this week we wanted to publish more photos from the Charesotn Rodeo Club.

Thomas S. Clifton, the brother of Amelia May Clifton “Wedgie” Flood, captured the action of the Charleston Rodeo Club on film. Here are a few more examples of that wild rodeo fun caught by Clifton’s camera.
