Ingredients:
• ¼ lb. butter
• ½ qt. yellow onion , medium dice
• ½ qt. red, yellow, green bell peppers , medium dice
• 2 oz. chili powder
• 2 oz. cumin
• 2 oz. paprika
• 1 large (#10) can stewed tomatoes , crushed (by hand)
• Large (#10) can white beans, drained and washed
• 1/3-1/2 gallon water (as needed)
• 1 qt. home team smoked chicken
• Salt and pepper to taste
 
Directions:
1. Sweat onions and peppers in butter on low heat until soft.
2. Add chili powder, cumin and paprika and cook for 5 min. Add crushed tomatoes, water and season w salt and pepper, cook for 30 min. Add beans, cook for 30 min. Add chicken and season one last time w s&p. Cook approx 15 min or until chx is soft and worked into the soup.
