Whether you consider yourself goth or not, Tin Roof will be welcoming Charleston’s underground to its foggy dance floors yet again this week when another installment of Oblivion Goth Dance Party returns to the West Ashley bar.
Oblivion will take place Friday, April 22, a change from it’s usual Thursday night slot. “Though we usually lurk around the Tin Roof on Thursday evenings, we are doing a special Friday night edition for you nine-to-fivers and out-of-towners,” says organizer Evelyn DeVere.
Starting at 9 p.m., you can dance to the sounds of goth, industrial, post-punk, new wave, and other underground bands, both new and old. DJs XO and Chris#2, who have worked for decades in the NYC/NJ goth club scene, will be trading off spinning their extensive collections all night.
Oblivion Goth Dance Party will be held Friday, April 22nd, starting at 9 p.m. at The Tin Roof, 1117 Magnolia Road.
