WA Signing DCDekieya Cohen
As one of the top recruited basketball players in the country, Dekieya Cohen has committed to play next year for Baylor University in Waco, Texas. And in doing so, she has become the first  WAHS girls basketball player to sign with a Division I college. Cohen’s senior season and the Lady Wildcat’s run to a state championship was thwarted earlier this season when she partially tore her right anterior cruciate ligament. Cohen is now rehabbing and hopes to be back in elite form and ready to play for the Bears in 2014.
