When the editors at USA Today wondered which attraction in each state could properly be called top-rated, they turned to TripAdvisor, the highly respected travel review website with more than 315 million members and more than 500 million reviews and opinions of hotels, restaurants, attractions and other travel-related businesses.
USA TODAY asked TripAdvisor to help identify one attraction in all 50 states (plus D.C.) that garners the best ratings and reviews from its users. For South Carolina, that honor went to Middleton Place.
According to Don Bussey, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, The Middleton Place Foundation puts a high value on the feedback visitors give to TripAdvisor members.
