Some bars were made for Mardi Gras and Voodoo Tiki Bar in Avondale is one of them. With dark magic roots and a fine affinity for jazz in all of its mad mutations, Voodoo will be celebrating Fat Tuesday in as many wild and hedonistic ways as possible this coming Tuesday, March 4.
Along with classic Pat O’Brien Hurricanes and Hand Grenades (New Orleans Most Powerful Drink), Voodoo will be serving up authentic Cajun cooking with a side of live New Orleans jazz. Both the Louis D Project and Quentin Baxter and the New Orleans Jazz Band are lined up to help celebrate a night of purple, green and yellow revelry. And of course there will be free beads for everyone!

The Voodoo Fat Tuesday celebration will take place from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, at Voodoo Tiki Bar, located at 15 Magnolia Rd in Avondale. There is a $5 cover at the door. For more information, visit www.voodootikibar.com or call 843-769-0228.
