City Councilman Marvin Wagner is a retired Chief Resource Manager, Charleston Air Force Base. On city council Marvin Wagner serves on the Human Resources Committee, Recreation Committee, is the vice chair of the Traffic and Transportation Committee, and chairs the Special Facilities Committee.
CHALLENGER: Brian Byrd
Brian Byrd is a former prosecutor who now owns his own private practice. He lives on Johns Island and is a father of one with another on the way. The main issues he’s running behind are to offer the people of district 5 accessible, effective representation, a better way of life, and solutions that make sense.
