Doing The DuWap Thing

Charleston County Government and the City of Charleston Government will consider adopting the DuPont-Wappoo Community Plan, which includes a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and amendments to the respective comprehensive plans and zoning and land development regulations ordinances, as applicable.
The DuPont | Wappoo Community Plan and related documents are available at the Charleston County Zoning and Planning Department, located in the Lonnie Hamilton, III Public Services Building, 4045 Bridge View Dr. or online at www.charlestoncounty.org/departments/zoning-planning/projects-dupont.php or the City of Charleston Planning Division, located at 80 George St. or online at www.charleston-sc.gov/westashley.  You can visit these websites for a listing of properties for which zoning changes are proposed as part of this process. Questions regarding unincorporated parcels within the project boundaries may be directed to the Charleston County Zoning and Planning Department at (843) 202-7201 or planning@charlestoncounty.org.  Questions regarding incorporated parcels within the project boundaries may be directed to the City of Charleston Planning Division at (843) 724-3765.
